Ladies Champion 2011 : Judith Smith
This was looking to be a very close match until Moira pulled a muscle with the score at 4-5 in the first set. She finished the game which gave Judith the first set 6-4 but was unable to continue & had to retire.
Ladies Plate 2011: Joyce Robertson
Joyce beat Ginny in straight sets.
Mens Plate 2011: Keith Robertson
Keith & Ben had a long hard fought match going to 3 sets, with Keith eventually winning out.
So a Robertson double - attributed to their new red T-shirts!
The rain held off long enough for the barbecue and a few sets of club tennis.
The Mens final & Mixed Doubles final have still to be played.
These are now finished for 2011. The Ladies finished equal on points with 3 other clubs in 2nd place in Div 3, although sets won moved them down to 4th. Pretty good after a slow start.
